Frequently Asked Questions
What is FractoBall?
FractoBall is the first hourly lottery on the Solana blockchain that allows users to participate in the official Powerball lottery by buying fractional tickets using $FRACTO tokens. This makes playing Powerball more accessible by lowering the entry cost.
How does fractional participation work?
Instead of buying a full Powerball ticket, you can buy any amount of $FRACTO tokens. 10,000 $FRACTO tokens are equivalent to one full Powerball ticket. By holding $FRACTO, you own a fraction of a ticket equal to the proportion of $FRACTO you hold relative to 10,000. If a ticket purchased by FractoBall wins, you receive that same fraction of the winnings.
How are winnings calculated and distributed?
When a Powerball ticket purchased by FractoBall wins, the winnings are claimed. The total winnings are then divided among all participants based on the amount of $FRACTO tokens they held at the time of the winning draw. Distributions are automatic and proportional.
Where can I buy $FRACTO tokens?
You can purchase $FRACTO tokens on various Solana Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) such as Jupiter Exchange, Raydium, and Orca Exchange using the official $FRACTO contract address. Jupiter Exchange is often recommended for the best rates.
Is FractoBall affiliated with the official Powerball lottery?
No, FractoBall is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official Powerball lottery. FractoBall is a separate project built on the Solana blockchain that facilitates participation in the official Powerball lottery through the purchase and holding of $FRACTO tokens, and distributes winnings obtained from physically purchased tickets.
How are the draw results verified?
FractoBall utilizes VRF (Verifiable Random Function) or similar on-chain mechanisms to verify and transparently link the outcomes of the official Powerball draws to the results within the FractoBall platform. All results and transactions are verifiable on the Solana blockchain.
